Storytelling (and deadpan) at it's finest.
Nate Bargatze is a phenomenal comedian. I've been a fan of his work since "Yelled at by a Clown" came out. He is an incredible storyteller, taking some of the more mundane details of daily life and weaving jokes and observations into them in a masterful way that surprises you with the punchline and leaves you wanting more.
He could also teach a master class in deadpan. Barely breaking a smile the entire show, he left the audience in stitches and still looked as though he was just chatting with strangers at a bus stop. His new material deliverers a lot of similar themes of his previous work, but still feels new and fresh. After 15+ years in comedy it feels like he is still hitting is stride and improving with each new special.
